Part 1、Unboxing List
In fact, I heard about the Meijiaxin brand half a year ago. At that time, it was the H series, and along the way, it went from the V1 version to the V3 version, correcting some of the shortcomings of the old version product and gaining recognition from players. The one I purchased, which belongs to the Hyper Go series brushless version, has the biggest difference from the brushed version except for the difference in motor and electric adjustment. The brushless version of the product has a pure numerical number. I bought 16208, and the reason for buying this model is not only because the car shell is handsome, but also because the real reason will be discussed later. Let’s take a look at the packaging first. 1: A car of 16, the packaging is not too big, it’s square.
The back is the core purchasing point of the product, such as all metal gears, transmission structures, hydraulic shock absorbers, brushless motors, brushless electric adjusters, etc.
After unpacking, everything was underneath. Comes standard with a 2S battery, gun type oxygen air, charger, screwdriver, hex socket wrench, and head up wheel. The official stated that a battery can play for 15-20 minutes under power control. Considering my own playing situation, I have purchased an additional 2S battery.
Part 2、Appearance display
Take a look at the appearance. The paint on the entire car shell is really beautiful
From a side view, it can be seen that the suspension setting of the vehicle is actually high in the front and low in the rear. The purpose of this setting is to make it easier for the vehicle to lift its head and increase the visual impact during play. Of course, a longer front overhang also allows the vehicle to absorb more impact on the front of the vehicle when diving. If you don’t like this setting, 16208 adopts a form similar to twisted tooth suspension, and players can adjust the suspension travel on their own.
Among several products, the chassis clearance of 16208 is the highest, which is also one of the reasons why I bought this one.
The size of the car provides a reference for comparison. In terms of size, it’s not too big, but it’s also okay, belonging to a small to medium-sized ratio, right~
The factory is equipped with a head up wheel, it is recommended to install it, as it is more enjoyable to play with. When installing the head up wheel, there are a total of 4 screws, and two screws need to be removed from the rear bumper before installation.
At the end of the appearance chapter, let’s take a look at the car shell. The shell of this car has protruding black hard plastic on the roof and rear, which is currently used to protect the roof paint surface in the event of a rollover. Although one can anticipate the outcome, it is better than nothing. In terms of details, mjx did put in a lot of effort.
On the side of the vehicle, both sides of the chassis can completely wrap around the car shell. The advantage of this design is to minimize the entry of dirt into the car.
The 16208 car shell adopts a quick release design. Unlike the traditional R-buckle fixation method, the quick disassembly design not only facilitates players to disassemble and assemble the car shell with one hand, but also greatly improves efficiency.
After removing the car shell, it can be seen that there is a skeleton inside the car shell. The function of the skeleton is similar to that of a roll cage, which can better protect the chassis content when the vehicle rolls over. And from the perspective of the skeleton design, it also provides protection for the top of the shock absorber tower, which can maximize the service life of the shock absorber structure. In addition, the car shell is a soft shell, and once it has a skeleton, the shell does not need to crack and be damaged. It seems that among brushless products, only the 16208 car shell has such a design, and the paint is indeed beautiful, so I gave up other models of the original 3S battery and bought this big foot.
Part 3、Chassis Explanation
Since the car shell has been removed, let’s take a look at the chassis. The chassis of Mjx Hyper Go’s 16 ratio remote-controlled car is almost the same structure, whether it is a brushed series or a brushless series, the overall structure is the same.
So let’s first talk about some interesting aspects of the chassis and electronic components of the Mjx Hyper Go. Firstly, this car is equipped with an independent receiver. The advantage of an independent receiver is that it is very convenient to replace the remote control in the later stage, just replace it directly.
Due to the use of brushless motors, Mjx Hyper Go has equipped this series with a 45A brushless electric regulator. From the circuit, it can also be seen that the brushless motor is a three wire motor with strong power. Using a 2S battery, the top speed can reach 45km/h, and if using a 3S battery, the speed can reach a terrifying 68km/h! Don’t think this speed is slow, you should know that this is a 1:16 foot, not a 1:10 or even 1:8/1:5 product! And to be honest, this speed is difficult for ordinary players to fully control.
One highlight of the 16208 chassis design can also be seen from the above figure, which is the fully enclosed design of the gearbox, which can prevent dust from falling in to the maximum extent. Brushless motors generate a lot of heat, so Meijiaxin kindly provided a full combination of heat sinks and fans for this small to medium-sized product! After turning on the power, the fan will automatically start.
The battery is also a highlight of the Mjx Hyper Go 1:16 product line. After getting used to traditional batteries, modular batteries like the Mjx Hyper Go really caught my eye.
There is a small detail about this car that I didn’t mention when I looked at other UP reviews before – an elliptical buffer structure was designed between the front and rear bumpers and the chassis. This structure is similar to the energy collapse zone of a real car. When encountering an impact, this buffer structure will deform to reduce the impact on the core of the chassis.
Another highlight of the chassis is that it did not use a metal chassis and instead used engineering plastics. This surprised me a bit. Although I also understand that the strength of engineering plastics is not a problem, and in some extreme cases, the torsional and tear resistance of engineering plastics may be better than ordinary metals. But subjectively, I still feel uneasy about the high speed and the setting that allows for flying slopes~
Finally, there’s the conventional thing, hydraulic shock absorbers. The configuration of hydraulic shock absorbers is estimated to only be available from the original factory on 4-digit products. However, in recent years, Chinese brands have made efforts to significantly lower the threshold for hydraulic shock absorbers. But for the RC foot in this proportion and price range, being able to provide hydraulic shock absorbers also surprised me a bit~
The fundamental advantage of hydraulic shock absorbers, in addition to better posture performance, is that they can better cushion, absorb impacts, and suppress vehicle bouncing. You should know that a slight bounce during high-speed driving can cause the vehicle to suddenly lose control and roll~However, it is said that the shock absorber body of the brushless series has been changed from H16 series metal material to engineering plastic~Yes, it is also engineering plastic~
The front headlights are very bright, so theoretically, playing at night should not cause the car to run away~
In terms of remote control, the most innovative aspect is the use of two gear switches, corresponding to 70% power and 100% power respectively. In my actual experience, at 70% power, the delay in signal transmission is actually achieved by reducing the trigger sensitivity, resulting in the vehicle speed not reaching its maximum. Simply put, the opening of the trigger increases~
Part 4、Dynamic Performance
Let’s talk about the dynamic performance. The Mjx Hyper Go 16208 itself has a relatively small proportion, so its weight will not be too heavy. With the support of original batteries, we started very quickly.
Through slow motion photography, it can be seen that at the moment of starting, the rear suspension of the car is compressed quite severely, giving a very real car starting feeling.
It is precisely because of this setting that, with the original 2S battery power, starting can easily lift the head. If the power is stronger, it should be able to soar 360 ° in place.
At the moment when the front of the car lands, it can be seen that the front suspension supports the front of the car very well. Additionally, if the timing is well grasped, the rear of the car can be lifted and thrown forward by braking while the front wheels come into contact with the ground.
To be honest, this car is a bit fast and it’s difficult to capture very clear videos up close. It really flies by in a flash. But during the play, you can still feel that the support and stability of the entire chassis are very good. The low center of gravity and high stability of the wide wheelbase of the large foot bike, combined with the feedback of the suspension, make the vehicle’s posture really cool at high speeds.

Part 5、Full Configuration Worth Having
After tossing and turning for an hour, there were many situations of rolling or rushing into the fields. The anti friction strips on the roof and rear of the car made great contributions to the protection of the paint surface of the car shell, and the protection effect greatly exceeded my expectations.
Open the car shell and take a look at the chassis. To be honest, apart from dust, I didn’t see any obvious dirt, and the dust prevention effect of the car shell also exceeded my expectations. Especially at the top of the suspension tower, there is no wear and tear, like it~
Summary: Mjx Hyper Go 16208. The price is very favorable, and you can get hydraulic shock absorbers, metal transmissions, metal differentials, independent electric adjustment, independent reception, brushless power, and quick detachable car shells. Basically, you can think of RC big foot configurations at this price range or even higher. The Mjx Hyper Go can meet your needs.
The actual gameplay experience is exciting and crazy! The head up effect at full power start is visually impactful. Hydraulic shock absorbers can effectively suppress unnecessary body bouncing, making the vehicle’s movement posture more outstanding. Finally, the abundant original accessories can also provide optional options such as GPS, further increasing playability.
If we have to admit our shortcomings, there is indeed room for improvement in remote control. The main problem is that the clearance is relatively large. For such small and medium-sized high-speed vehicles, the accuracy of the remote control is very important, otherwise it is difficult to quickly adapt and perform precise control. Of course, these can be resolved through later upgrades. In the face of configuration and price, it is regrettable that I was able to take over the remote control.
